I remember reading somewhere that there were five indicators in a teenagers life which could fairly accurately predict whether they would turn out or be trouble.

As I recall the list went something like this:

Kids are most successful if:

1. Their parents stay married...Check
2. Their family eats dinner together frequently....Check
3. Their time in front of the television is limited...Check
4. They don't have a phone in their room...Check
5. They keep their bedrooms clean.....

OOPS.
Well, four out of five ain't bad.

In my daughter's defense, this is as bad as it gets. She hasn't felt well the past few days.In our defense, she works so hard at everything else. School, music, her job, and her volunteer work that she's literally in motion all the time. So we pick our battles. She cleans when she can. Once she gets things picked up we try to encourage her to take the time to put things away and, thus, avoid the catastrophe you see above.
All I can say is, heaven help her college roommate.
