Well, actually, I've been warning of the dangers of texting and for a several years. Way before Oprah made the issue cool.
In this story I focus on teens specifically.
Often when I do my stories I try to find a visual way of driving (no pun intended) a point home. We always get great cooperation from the Minnesota Highway Safety and Research Center at St. Cloud State University when we want to do something creative involving driving. They're super passionate about keeping drivers safe so they let us do all kind of crazy experiments like the one you'll see in this report called R-U-InTEXTicated?

Thank you for tackling these difficult subjects but I am sooooo with you...BUCKLE UP AND STOP TEXTING!!!!!!!! ENOUGH...how many more people need to die before everyone "gets" it!!!! I pray none...but know that is unrealistic...:(((
